Koch looks like he just wants rid of the ball as soon as he gets it, at least Cooper occasionally brings it out of defence. We weren't poor but we need more composure, again. When you play the tactics we do, you need good organisation, decent quality defenders and a well drilled and coached defence to cope with it. If you haven’t those qualities it’s suicide, so you’d expect you’d play to your strength more? This Villa team were very poor and they still beat us. Ashley Young 37 and yet we moan our players are over the hill, Mings, if we signed him we’d be devastated, they coped with our attacks better.
I was disappointed when Wober didn't start at left back given Struijks last two performances. However, Wober hasn't played for ages so I kind of understood it. I didn't agree with it but I understood the reason that happened. Now, looking forward, Struijk should not play left back the next game. He's shot to pieces. Get him out. Wober has to start. Sorry mate. I'll never agree to Firpo being our left back. I've said for weeks that we need a new back 4. Greenwood was OK. Gelhardt is shot, a shadow of his former self.
I disagree, you can drum into a player don’t allow him to come inside you, Struijk was up for the corner, he had to make the entire length of the field and think about where he should be. I can’t be the only one who counted how many defenders we had up for the corner. I thought if they break we’re in trouble, we’re too slow to get back, we’ve committed too many If you know you haven’t the greatest defenders in the division, you know they are prone to a mistake, you know they’re a bit slow, you know Villa are playing 4-4-2 surely it makes sense not to commit too many I’d drop Struijk btw

Look we were unlucky today but I'm worried. more worried than last season I just don't see this style of football working with what we have. I honestly close my eyes when we lose the ball because we just open like the Red Sea as Ristac said that Villa team is poor yet they took the 3 pts yes it looked lucky but the facts are we don't win or even pick a point up again. it's not just been this game we shoot ourselves in the foot numerous times it has to stop and it has to stop now.
