For a couple of years I’ve been thinking of learning the guitar as a lot of music I like is guitar based. Would you say the electric or acoustic is easier to learn?
Electric was way easier for me - I started out with acoustic as a child, then with acoustic again as an adult. It was my tutor that persuaded me to switch to electric as you can do so much more, my acoustic is now just for show, but it's nice to get it out ocassionally for the sound and feel of steel strings. Although my acoustic could be plugged into electric if I chose because it has a jack socket and a 9V battery compartment. Don't spend too much money to get started, upgrade once you build confidence.
Grest advice, I definitely want to learn this year, just need to get a half decent starter kit and then learn
Been thinking about getting a good sound system for ages now but I'm so impressed with the quality of headphones nowadays I'm not sure I'll bother. Still thinking on it though.
I wasn't taking too much notice over it, but I heard something said that there was history of heart conditions in the family, and that she had already out lived in age, those people. I don't know if any of that is true btw.
