Potter has made a mistake. He’s trying to implement tactics with players not accustomed to that style of play and they are not your £10k a well players and will throw a hissy. He should have devised a plan for the players he has then start to replace/mould then to what he wants. Now, maybe he hasn’t made a mistake and the owner has said start the process now.
Whatever plan he's got, I don't think it would include 10 first team squad unavailable. He's not getting many breaks to be fair.
Chelsea aren't even a big club, ****ing tin pot ground with ****e support aswell, we were above them before the Russian came in, back in your mid table place you loud mouth ****s.
TBH Chelsea are a little unlucky atm with 10 players out injured and pretty much an entire squad meaning limited options for them! Still they should be doing better than they are and long may their troubles continue! Look at that injury list: Edouard Mendy (hand), Reece James (leg) Wesley Fofana (knee) CB Ben Chilwell (hamstring), N'Golo Kante (hamstring) Denis Zakaria (thigh) Ruben Loftus-Cheek (calf) Raheem Sterling (muscle injury) Christian Pulisic (knee) Armando Broja (cruciate ligament)
I've not been that impressed with Koulibaly if i'm honest ! I'd be expecting a **** tonne more for £300k a week that's for sure. Wish we were playing them on Sunday instead of Fulham.
He's been ****, and I'll be completely honest, I thought he would be. Prem too fast and aggressive for him. Salah absolutely tortured him in the CL last season - which I suppose can happen - but he just looked so shell-shocked in that performance that I'd made my mind up he wasn't all that back then.
Funny, isn't it, that the two clubs with yank owners make the most diabolically bad transfer market decisions imaginable. Had this on a footy WhatsApp group with a manc "fan" (good fishing in them waters, I tell ye) who said about lack of support from the Glazers. Yeah, they take a lot of cash out and are basically American Mike Ashley's. But I had to remind him of the transfer fees for (takes deep breath): Antony, Sancho, Casemiro, Maguire, Lukaku, Bruno, Martinez, Wan Bissaka, Varane and Van De Beek. That's about £650m alone. He then whinged about "yeah, but it's instalments so future owners carry the debt" and I was like "what, like every other club? Besides which, you were moaning about investment not structure of deals". Fcking bellends. Man U & Everton fans are the same. Whiny bitches who live in the shadow of their neighbours.
Yup - I find it so difficult not to bite and just lay it down for them when I see them moaning about it on Twitter (mainly). I have a few Manc fan mates who are a fair bit more understanding of the situation, but the moronic masses are bloody mind boggling.
I work with a Chelsea fan and he reckons he's absolute dogsh*te. He's fuming to have had to replace Rudiger with him.
