Going by what this guy says Carlos has played in a few different positions.

 

In his OS interview he describes himself as being a midfield player that likes to shoot from outside the box, score with headers and drive the team forward from midfield.

He is only 5"9 as well, anyone starting to get Tim Cahill vibes?

Thought so, great to hear. Cahill was my favourite non-saints player growing up, bit of a random one but i just loved his fight and how he influenced almost all parts of the game.

I'm absolutely certain that his record at Luton was the clincher. As opposed to Roger Schmidt and Benfica, both renowned for their inability to bring through kids.

I mean, even if it was true, why say it? A lot of players that he has signed in the past have in fact said that Jones played a big role. The fact NJ does speak spanish makes it plausible that he spoke with Alcaraz and helped convince him. But he just comes across as a bit of a twat by saying that
