True, QPR could have beaten them on Saturday actually. If we have a fully fit team I'd love to see us take the game to them, especially as their entire squad is away for internationals as well.

Technically yes, we are. But I just can't see us finishing above the scousers or anyone. 7th is realistically the highest we can achieve. And don't get me wrong I'd be bloody chuffed with that.

And you guys are on top form at the minute definitely. Glad we played you when we did! The way things are going at the minute you could easily beat Chelsea to 3rd. Mancs for 1st and 2nd. You and Chelsea for 3rd and 4th. Spuds Liverpool for 5th and 6th. And then us 7th. Unless something goes horribly wrong.

**** it, we can win it ;) Ha

    I don't think we'll make top 4. We're playing brilliantly at the moment, but we're going to suffer the same problem that city will, our foreign stars will play poorly in cold weather. Spurs have the edge, they look like top 4 material themselves. I see chelsea rebounding soon, and giving Man Utd a good fight for second. The fight for 4th will be;

    You
    Us
    Liverpool
    Spurs

If they hadn't lost or drawn they'd have beat them. One out of three isn't bad.

On current form I'd have to agree with you there but injuries will take their toll and the momentum won't quite be the same and we'll drop, definitely. Tough 3 games coming up and we'll more than likely drop to 7th. Not overly impressed with the Scousers, at all, to be honest. Spurs definitely have something about them. Chelsea look off the boil but they'll bounce back. I dunno. I know we're only 11 games in, but it's still bloody hard to guess anything. Based on current forum it could be a bloody exciting season at the top.

Tell ya what though, you're the best Arsenal fan we've had <laugh> You're definitely saying all the right things. Come back and say more nice things about us finishing high up the table, please do! <laugh>

Haven't been impressed with the Scousers myself. They just don't seem to be firing on all cylinders.

    Amy certainly isn't anyway.

Annoying isn't it? Average at best, but their average at best squad will still probably finish top 6 and get all the plaudits for being fantastic <grr>

Apart from Jose, of course. Who has actually been decent.

You can't just throw eleven individuals together and expect them to play as a team. It'll take time for them to gel. Jose is a class team player as he proved when working alongside Jonas, they had a great understanding and were a great pairing for us. Was more than a bit disappointed when he left.

Am I the only one not impressed by Spurs right now? I know they're on a serious unbeaten streak too, but I've thought they've looked mediocre at best for several of those matches, especially today's! That 3-1 score does not reflect how badly they were dominated by Fulham, or how invisible Modric, VDV and Parker were

No, I agree. They just aren't that good.

I mean, we really aren't either. But they don't look like a CL side.

It will be bordering on the impossible for us to finish above the two Mans, Chelsea or Spurs. Finisshing above Liverpool or Arsenal is within the realms of possibility but very unlikely.

There isn't anyone else, though, who looks obviously better than us.

We're where we are on merit, nothing is beyond the realms of possibility.

Happy with the start think the top 7 will end up like this.

    1. Man City
    2. Man Utd
    3. Chelsea
    4. Tottenham
    5. Arsenal
    6. Liverpool
    7. Newcastle

quite impressed with them less so with Chelsea and to some extent man utd they both look dodgy at the back maybe that'll change with vidic back for manure but Chelsea can't seem to get their heads around the way Villas-Boas wants to play at the minute and imo have been a lot luckier than us with their results.
So might be the right time to play them as they'll work it out they have enough money to buy whatever he wants lets face it

What's the word on the lads that are injured?
Tiote should be back for City game.

    City will be missing Kompany.
Who have they really played anyway? Freak result against Man Utd but other than that not really anyone, I think they've been quite lucky <whistle>

Think there's nothing stopping us from playing our game, closing down, catching them on the break, set pieces etc for the next three matches and getting results . . . . . . well except Man City, Man Utd & Chelsea obviously <ok>
