Everton fans must wonder why they didn’t see Silva perform this well there but then most managers fail at Goodison I guess. Potter probably feels what more can go wrong ! Still he’ll get a nice pay off .
Or be sacked if they don't? It's one of the reasons they are there, if they're not prepared to they shouldn't be there.
Certainly demoted. Players maybe ought to be banned long for dissent maybe or time wasting just to prove a point?
I don't care what the offside rule says, there is no way that ManUre equaliser should have been given.
Didn't notice - but Rashford was quite clearly interfering with play in an offside position. The rule needs to change...
The race to be relegated from the EPL is getting interesting. I really can't see West Ham staying down there too much longer, whereas Bournemouth, Everton and Southampton each look too dire to survive. Still a long way to go I suppose.
Can see a few management changes soon maybe? Even ex refs have said its a bad rule which just complicates things. Most agree it was offside in reality except for the Man U biased pundits of course.
I didn’t realise the assistant who gave offside originally was a World Cup final official so if he getting confused with the laws and calling that offside then you have to wonder how much uncertainty there is in the officials over this offside law .
As Brian Clough said "if a forward of mine was in an offside position and not interfering with play I would substitute him immediately" Had it been the other way around then most of the offended football fans would have been happy because Arsenal would only be five points ahead If it is a choice between two sports washed teams with billions to spend or Arsenal to win the title, then I would choose Arsenal
Sounds like someone was using a hidden phone to play pranks on the BBC coverage whilst it was live in the studio.
The last straw seemingly for Michael Appleton was playing Watford, as he has been sacked for the second time by Blackpool.
Is it me or are Watford responsible for an inordinate amount of managerial changes either before ("we've rubbish so far, but we mustn't lose to Watford: You're fired") or immediately after ("You lost to Watford: your fired") we play whomsoever? Unbelievable how often we get set against the new manager buzz.
The media etc like to claim Watford hold the record for sacking managers but we do probably hold the record for getting other teams managers sacked because for whatever reason we are viewed as the underdog ever since we chose GT over Bobby Moore
