He's not daft is he, the more of 'his own people' he brings in the harder it will be to sack him. He was replaced quite easily at Sunderland because KLD has set the club up so that it's bigger than the manager. I'm sure the question of our next manager is being continually considered.

    Man’s a ****ing prick.

He will get fired, end up at Rotherham or some **** and get fired again.

The football under Mowbray is another level, the mood is better and it feels more stable.

I’d say he can suck my balls but he’d do a **** job of that.

Aye he got us up, aye he did well for us, but really he just carried on work that the foundations had been firmly put in for, same as he did at Norwich.

He’s gone to Stoke, where they needed it built from the deck up, and he’s absolutely shat the bed.

**** the prick. He will never get a sniff of a club the size of us. Smug looking knacker.

He’s gone now so bollocks. We March on.

I hope he’s still there when Stoke come up here in 7 weeks time. He doesn’t have any idea about the sort or reception he’ll receive… maybe he should ask Darren Bent?

It didn't stop Darren Bent relegating us though a few years on.

He might’ve scored the winner for Burton but our own jokers relegated us that year.

I'll happily join in any anti-Alex Neil chants but it would be even better if we ignored him completely and spent the whole match singing our hearts out about our team and our players, creating that tremendous atmosphere for the lads that Stoke can't replicate and pushing the players on to shove a victory down Neil's throat - players he clearly didn't think were experienced or good enough to handle this division.

Still makes me shudder what we saw that season.

For me the bit that gets under my skin is that after his previous work as a manager he was really a bit of a forgotten man then we take a chance with him and he gets his name back in the news a bit and becomes a little bit more relevant and the first thing he done was jump ship I think that annoyed me the most

The fact that he ****ed off the day before a game annoyed me the most. If he wanted to go and talk to Stoke surely it could've waited till the Sunday/Monday but as it panned out it was obvious he'd been tapped up at our game versus them. I hope in the return in March the players show him what he's missing out on and play them off the park with a hat-trick for LND

I never have resentment for people who change jobs for more money, I do however have no respect for him over how it was handled
