I thought Scotland controls their own NHS ? Responsibility for the National Health Services in Scotland is a devolved matter and therefore rests with the Scottish Government. Legislation about the NHS is made by the Scottish Parliament. The Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing has ministerial responsibility in the Scottish Cabinet for the NHS in Scotland.

Since the raising of the taxes is a matter for the Scottish National Party led government and the spending of funds is decided by the SNP led government and the Scottish Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care is one Humza Yousaf MSP of the SNP, it is difficult to see how anybody can conclude that the Tories are responsible rather than the “progressive Left” SNP.
