I did have a look at the odds but Bet365 had Saints at 17/2 which wasn't enough to tempt me. Mind you we would have got thumped had I put money on Saints to win!
Nicked off the BBC website This is the list of teams to beat Manchester City in 90 minutes in the League Cup over the past seven years. Manchester United Southampton

New strategy, for 2023-24: - We crowdfund enough to buy Tom single-match tickets for every game. Not a ST. Individual tickets. - Tom refunds each and every one of them. We'll make CL at a minimum.
Well that was unexpected... Brilliant but unexpected! The first time we have found a formation that got the best out of KWP, JWP and many more. Not sure if it was the formation, the confidence after a win, the lack of pressure or the competition with new players coming in. No one had a bad game tonight and it was good we didn't just defend and hold on sit back. Lyanco was rash but he was magnificent defending the box.
We are in Peps head. City were well off it and we were well up for it. We got the rub tonight, everything came off for us but we were brave both with the ball and against it. Clear organisation. Crucially, we took our chances and we didn't have the pressure of league position to worry about, its a mental game as much as a physical one.
