Hang on! I did quantify it by saying we are ahead of where we should be, and only asked if we could or should be prepared to risk a bit more now to accelerate the success. The answer may well be that we just can’t, it’s not possible, which is also cool. I’m just impatient to see the back of Lewis, Murphy, Wood, Lascelles, Ritchie and maybe Longstaff (at least as a starter) as soon as possible, Targetts injury accounts for Lewis. Isak/Wilson accounts for Wood. So given how abysmal Murphy and Ritchie were, and both Longstaff and Anderson, then Lascelles, I’d say we need three players in Jan - young CB, CM and Winger - with another 4 in Summer. But we may be restricted to none, which would be a shame.
