If it wasn't boasting, it was done for sensationalism to sell his book. He didn't need to mention the number when writing a book going out to the public. It's not done amongst the military.
A few days ago you were talking about him “boasting”…..so now are you willing to accept that you were taken in by the sensationalist gutter press….? I know I was, but then I admit it. Sadly I think you’ll play to type.
In my view, there were elements of boasting and sensationalism present Ah, yes, and then more personal abuse to bolster up your poor arguments.
Anyone actually reading the book rather than being swayed by the predictable opinions of right wing nonces on Twitter?
Why did he feel the need to tell us how many people he had killed I think he's been in America too long They love that sort of thing
Your arguments are so weak, you always play the man and not the ball. It's comic how often it happens when your back's against the wall!
Thanks to the endless press coverage his book is now the biggest selling non fiction (fiction) book ever in the U.K. All he can do is go on about how terrible the British press are but they seem to be making him lots of money which, I’m assuming is why he’s doing this.
All the responses I've read and heard from military colleagues of his who've actually read what he had to say have been supportive. Any negative reaction seems to have come from retired generals who've been phoned up by some scumbag from the gutter press and asked, 'What do you think about Harry boasting about how many Taliban he killed?'
I don't know what you've been reading because everything I've seen from right wing and left wing press (like the Independent and Mirror) have military personnel of all ranks condemning him for putting a number on. He's put his family at risk, the royal family, the military and indeed possibly the British public. We've had another mad Muslim stabbing people at the Gare du Nord just today. Harry's a total ****ing idiot.
I probably won't read it, but I did seek out the excerpt about killing Taliban because I didn't believe the descriptions of 'boasting'. I was right not to. I might try and find the bit about by decked by William and refusing to fight back.
So some nutter has stabbed people in France…..and it’s down to Harry writing about killing Taliban in Afghanistan? And you say my arguments are weak ?
The facts surrounding his service have been available since 2013. If anyone's putting people in danger, it's those describing him as 'boasting'.
The point clearly went over your head. There are Islamic extremists willing to kill and maim people now, without inflammatory statements from a disgruntled member of the royal family conjuring up images of the 25 muslims he's shot from his helicopter as part of what he calls a game
