Oh dear - needs to do some research then . There is nothing to suggest he would come straight on - least till the summer anyway. The EFL/PL have had 10 years to do something .
I'm sure they did do something - just can't remember what exactly. Limit the number of overseas loans?
That was the action they took after Hollowhead the QPR manager had a Klopp style meltdown and cried to the EFL The irony was Watford voted to make the change to prevent anyone else doing it in the future
Yes so we brought them all instead... Now they just pick up on the fact we have Sarr/Pedro and a big squad with Parachute payments - or just get on with it and beat us unfortunately!
Presumably they would also make Man City divest their interest in New York City, Melbourne City, Yokohama, Girona etc.? Thought not.
That's an interesting thought, but I think that there would be far too much fan protest for them to buy and re-name any team, e.g. Leyton Red Bull. I also don't think it makes as much commercial and economic sense as buying teams in Germany, the US, or their native Austria. It would take a lot of investment to compete with the state-owned teams at the top of the Premier League. Stick with the F1 team.
Given our injury list, I thought we'd have a few signings in that could immediately impact the first team by now.
Probably busy getting the Martins deal done. Kone will come into midfield and the new right back potentially involved somewhere. Is anyone going to be back for Saturday?
He intimated they would last week.... thankfully we have an easier game on Sat to get the team back together
Not sure if this is just a case of an article putting out a name they know might go out on loan out there and linking him with a number of clubs without any real knowledge or substance to the rumour. https://www.footballinsider247.com/...oves-to-sign-man-city-sensation-finley-burns/
No thanks. He was at Swansea on loan last season and only made three appearances - mainly because he arrived there with a hamstring injury. With our hamstring record he probably wouldn't want to risk coming here anyway.
I saw him described as "Watford prodigy" on one website. While I do like him as a player, I think that's a bit of a step too far.
