Free to ST holders, I enjoyed that match more than most of the recent 1st team matches. Quite a decent amount of quality on show. On a side note we sat high up just underneath the press seats and I was talking a lot of tactics 1st half and pointed out that Everton were not pressing properly and allowing us to continually transition quite easily. At half time I realised the Everton coaching/analysts team were directly behind me. 2nd half starts and Everton pressed well and we were rocking until our 2nd goal which was against the run of play. It was probably coincidence that they changed tactics but I was more careful with my tactical chats 2nd half
Someone else to try and prove wrong . I remember he was quite hard on us sacking Edwards so probably no surprise he doesn’t think Bilic has done that well.
Is this the same George Elek who also predicted at the mid-point of last season which clubs would finish in the Championship play-off places? None of the four clubs, which were named in his prediction, finished in any of the top six positions!
