Don’t know about that. The Hillbilly has said nothing. In fact if he said nothing it would be more informative than what he did say.

I am more confident we'll win. I think we'll also keep a clean sheet as they'll be tired after their chelsea game on thursday.

    3-0 win to the toon

Wilson, Bruno and Miggy all to score.

2-1 and a tough game. They play a similar press style but slightly deeper.

They have been good this season. This will not be an easy game.

Thought last night was really important and so, so impressive. Blanks against Arsenal (understandably) and Leeds then the Sheff defeat had me worried we might get back into old habits and struggle. Then we started misfiring and it looked bad. To pull through that, beat Leicester well and get back in scoring form is fantastic and perfect set up for Fulham. They will also likely park the bus and ****house but I think we’re quickly starting to work out how to deal with that and the fitness of ASM and Isak to add unpredictability and real quality has come at the perfect time; teams haven’t had to deal with those two so we now have more surprise.

I'd hope we'd beat Fulham, especially as they have a game Thursday vs Chelsea and will have 2 less days rest than us. We will be riding a wave and beat them with the atmosphere - 7 clean sheets in a row for Pope now (10 in 12 games!) - I can't see Fulham breaking us down more than once but expect to score at least 2 or 3.

Wilson, Almiron, Bruno - Mitro 3-1

2-1 to us. Fulham are playing well this season and this is going to be a good test for us. I think we will win but it won't be plain sailing.

I actually think we'll bag a few against them. Fancy Isak for a decent run out and a brace.

Want to say we'll have another shut out, but we've had a few near misses recently, so 3-1 prediction. Won't be easy, but I reckon we'll blow them away 2nd half, assisted by their lack or rest and travel.

Having Isak back is a big deal for us. We've been managing the situation well but really were in need of another forward option for rotation & in game flexibility. Maxi too of course.

Considering what we've managed without them it is exciting to think what we can do second half of the season if we can keep everyone fit.

    Isak and wilson up top,
Miggy and ASM on the wings.
Willock Joelinton Bruno in the middle
    Trippier,Schar,Botman,Burn/Targett
    Pope

That team is good enough to compete with everyone - since 1st December 2021 we've conceded two goals or more on five occasions in the league - three of those in December 2021 and four of those occasions vs City and Liverpool, Leicester being the other team to score more than 2 against us it over a year. Two or three signings this window and we are laughing!
