Man Utd line-up: Lindegaard, Jones, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Fletcher, Rooney, Park, Nani, Welbeck, Hernandez.

    No de gea.

    Thoughts?

    P.s. szczesney > de gea

Even the anti arsenal SSN pundits think so

He is rested after playing midweek. I think we'd normally keep our reserve keepers for the league cup and give Lindegaard gametime in the CL. So nothing untoward about that. So I don't know if you're trying to make a mountain out of a molehill but whatever.

And regarding whether your keeper is better, well one has been playing in England for a while now whereas the other has just moved here.

No doubt that Sczszney is a good keeper but your opinion backed up by the thoughts of the media are quite silly IMO because it's quite clear what the media have portrayed De Gea as.

I'm sorry but why would a goalie be 'rested' its not the hardest job, my previous step dad played for Liverpool in goal and he used to tell me how all the players would go and run, and the goalies would just dive about, goalies do not need resting.

It's called squad rotation and utilisation. We keep all of our squad match fit and give them experience so that we can cope when we pick up injuries, unlike Arsenal who fall apart every time their one man Van Persie catches a cold.

My thoughts are that you are a stupid little bastard. You are blindly obsessed by Manchester United, as they dwarf your local tiny club. You suffer from massive jealousy due to the fact that we are the most successful club in english football. Now **** off you peado victim

SAF usually gives his second choice keeper a few league games each season, usually in games he expects us to win. Keeps the pressure on the 1st choice, and makes sure the 2nd choice gets to build a rapport with the defence in case of injuries. SAF has definitely learnt the lessons Chelsea learnt after Cech got injured in 2006.

After all, what will Arsenal do if Chesney gets injured? Fall back on Fabianski who has played two league cup games in the last three months? And kiss that top four spot goodbye for good... <ok>

I bet you have 2 friends, sit at home all day ****ing over ****e porn, never had a girlfriend and tries to act big over the Internet when in actual you weigh 60 kg and sing 'your beautiful' to yourself atleast twice a day.

Or Calamity James. He just dived around all over the place like a headless chicken for most of his Liverpool days...

i dont get the reading into the situation, Sir Alex was giving Lindegaard a game, he's a decent keeper and its good to give him more than just the odd leauge cup game and the easier champions leauge fixtures (especailly as Amos got the last leauge cup game). De Gea played midweek no harm in letting Lindergaard have a go, if you look back at last year Fergie pretty much reduced wherever possible goalkeepers to one game per week unless both games were big games sure this was cause VDS was getting on a bit but its still logical to keep the backup sharp and give the forst choice a break (more so mental than physical)

Chris pile, was on the bench at heysel, youngest eve play to be in the squad in a cl final, got told by the manage and grobbelaar that he would go on to play for England, but broke his wrist twice. So never got going. He is a twat though, I think that is why he played or Liverpool <laugh> fit in.
