Phew... I'll be glad if I never get to see his enormous nipples poking out a shirt again. I'll finally be able to keep my food down again.

PSG owners want to invest in prem club and held talks with spurs.

Now that seems to have a massive conflict of interest written all over it if true.

Of course it does but if they do I wouldn't be at all surprised if the FA/Premier League rolled over and let it happen.

Can only hold majority stake in one CL club though... Which is all right now, but if Qatar invested enough into Spurs they might one day qualify for CL.

This is the price gouging and cost of allowing states to run teams and spend anything they like.

Club wont reduce ticket prices. Period. their excuse is they need to pay the wages for players the fans demand.

the reality is they are absolutely gouging.

oh sorry, i thought it was an average cost but you are right it wouldn't cover a season ticket at the bigger clubs. its 869 at LFC

you can pay 2 grand at spurs as most expensive. there's a wide variety of prices so i didn't really look at the details of the source. Just assume dit was match going people.

it is a list to show we pay more to watch the PL on tele than foreign countries charge their domestic market though why people are surprised is beyond me .

Yeah it’s not overly surprising. Also doesn’t show is that to watch every game available so having sky bt and amazon? What’s the price per game as we obviously can’t see all the games so do the other countries cover every game at a cheaper rate?

Does that also include all the other things you get as I don’t just pay sky and only get to watch football, also cricket, f1 etc.

That table on its own means not a whole load tbh

The domestic broadcasters even now pay the bulk the PL receive ,though the foreign rights are growing unlike the domestic which have stalled, and need to recoup that outlay .

I remember a big barny between Tobes and Astro (them again) during Covid, with Tobes basically saying the Prem wouldn't be valid if it was finished behind closed doors (he had an agenda!) and Astro replying that prem teams get more revenue from broadcasting than from matchday receipts (he had an agenda too, tbf :emoticon-0108-speec). I don't know how true that is, but it does suggest a switch in emphasis since 1992.
