in the forces it was vindaloo but then realised i couldn't taste FA after the first spoonful, the wife loves spices so she orders meals i've never heard of or tried where she comes from everything is spicy But not overpoweringly hot, Lamb saag i find canny, chicken pasanda,king prawn balti,lamb tikka jalfrezi, plus the old favorites, She makes a lot of her own traditional recipes

 

im going to speak to her about your favorites and try them

 

I always tend to go for chicken or king prawn for a curry, the lamb saag does sound interesting though.

The Naga bhuna isn't that common in restaurants , so I guess you're better off making your own. It's maybe similar in heat to a vindaloo, but it's much nicer and has much more interesting flavours. Basic recipe here, I guess you can adjust it to whatever heat you're comfortable with:

thanks mate been using Milan at the lane not bad , but all the family love our lasses home made, Now ive never been a lover of spinach but she did a Sagg lamb cooked till it melts in the mouth with spinach and other greens man the taste is to die for, and in the morning no second degree burns from the rear blaster

 

Don't know where you're living nowadays mate but Cinnamon Spice Club does a very good Saag Lamb. It is not cheap but if we order a curry, it is always from there.

 

ive seen it advertised mate been only been back in England a short while after 25 years in Europe, had to reg the car get all the docs done get a dentist doctor boatloads plus they're giving me loads of hospital appointments,tribulations of a large portion

Chilli chocolate - 6.4 million on the scoville scale, burns like a bitch immediately after eating, challenge is to survive 5 minutes after eating it without needing to go for the milk or ice cream. Cos it's chocolate it tends to stick to your throat and make it worse, also hits your stomach hard.
