Rather than a season changer I see this as a Diallo upgrade, if he turns out to be Scholes II so much the better. If he turns out worse than Diallo then we've wasted a massive opportunity. Elyonoussi's contract is up in 6 months. Who would offer him a new one? I'd honestly prefer a fresh face and wouldn't have a problem with him leaving.
Can't see Moi being in high demand, and given that he's eligible to sign on a Bosman, he doesn't really have any incentive to take a transfer now anyway. Certainly shouldn't be looking to extend his stay, though.
He'll probably have a couple of good games and be given a new 4 year contract. See Djenepo earlier this season.
Be interesting to see what we/he does. He doesn't score or create much, but is a regular in the side under multiple managers. I think he would have a market too as he did well for Celtic and scored much more regularly there, and he seems to do well for Norway too. Not that we would get anything for him at this stage with just 6 months left on his contract.
Just a quick thought - Is Moi the type of player that we moan when he plays, but miss when he doesn't? Not saying as good as, but a Steven Davis type player?
