Tried to explain this to my eldest (Man City fan) but he thinks I'm just biased. Haaland is quality striker but not much of a team player. Nunez is a better player imo (but obviously Haaland the better goal scorer)
Villa are now out to Stevenage. Goalkeeper to blame for the Stevenage winner. Terrible attempt to save it
Points mean everything. You do know how this works don't you - or is this just another attention-grabber?
Obviously we don't know for sure until the end of the season, but that doesn't make my observation irrelevant. They're close to half-way through the season, and home or away hasn't troubled them too much when they're on form. But that's not even the point I'm making. Everyone has been saying for years that an out-and-out goalscorer would complete the team and they'd be invincible. Clearly it's not that simple. They now have that player, but they're in no better a position than they were before.
I actually agree with you on this given the way they play and have said on our board we don't need a target man just a poacher/fox in the box who will get to the ball first when we get it in there. We have the ball pinging around the goal so often yet few to get the final touch.
benfica could be rocked by a juventus level match fixing scandal. Cheslea will try to pay them double what fernandez is worth (some of their fans are already on first name terms with enzo, cos they don't know his second name) this window while he could be worth half that in the summer to the administrators.
Fresh from killing off the career of Ronaldo the Portuguese Football association have decided to end the competitive careers of the entire Portuguese senior men's team by appointing Bobby Martinez as their national team manager. WOW. i can only conclude they thought he did an amazing job on ending the international career of Belgium squad.
We're about the half way point, so it should be pretty close. I don't think it's any major debate point that City, are not as good as last season. Still the team to beat, but with a little less bite.
There are a lot to choose from but this has got to be one of the most ridiculous things you've said on here.
Gareth Bale announces retirement aged only 33. Well done for not following the Ronaldo path out of the game.
Well tbh, when you are as lazy as he is being not even bothered to move to florida monetise your image rights company to minimise tax makes perfect sense Some tax zone will make a lot of money I suppose
