Rumours about TC going to Rangers appear to be warming up after Wagner commenting that he was just “not selected” after going through the reasons for Gibson (injury) and Sargent (rest) not being selected for todays squad, even though he trained and Springett was on the bench that he could have got ahead of.
If Cantwell gets sold for circa £5m, then the money should be wisely spent. However, it seems that a free transfer is more likely. How the mighty have fallen?
Jamal Lowe anyone? A few starts for Bournemouth this season: a side struggling in EPL. Doesn’t do much for me, but others may know more about him than me. I suspect that transfers will be down to who we sell or loan out?

We're not going to get £5million for Cantwell, think we'd be lucky to get £500k for him to move in Jan. Quite why we extended his contract for a year when it was plain as day he didn't want to be here, I'll never know...another bizarre upper echelon decision. As for Lowe...meh, sure he'd do a better job than Sinani, Onel & Dowell combined, but not exactly something to be excited about. We're not going to rake in much other than saving on wages selling off our deadwood
Precisely. Otherwise, it would have been an all or nothing gamble on him convincing Bournemouth he was worth £11m. Would anyone on here have bet on him doing that?
Cantwell looks set to go to Rangers. Anybody got an idea of transfer fee? Aarons, yet again being touted as a transfer. Could be an interesting month.
Getting a good whack (inflated Jan prices) for Aarons would be excellent, providing we can get a decent replacement! Can Mumba play RB? That money could allow us to get in one or two additions or even decent loans.
Trouble with Hanley is, ANY sort of pace going at him and he is done for. Yes, he can run fast in a straight line, but his ability to turn when someone is running at him is laughable. Keep him as a leader in the changing room and back up to Omobamidele and An.Other. It's not just the mistake vs Blackburn, he is just limited in his usefulness imo
As has Gibson which on face value makes Hanley the best of the 3 but, as we know from previous players, if the fans decide they don't like you then you stand no chance. IMO Hanley is not PL standard but adequate for the Championship and we have other players in the squad who should be causing us more concern. Anybody know who, if any, are out of contract at the end of the season.
