Maiga was kneecaps response to Austin doing his shoulder, plus Doyle.... he needed 2 additional signings to replace chaz....

I know that evil Les is scapegoat no. 1 but he's only working on recommendation from the scouting team and now the analytical team.... plus we are restricted in the finance department...

I'm sick of hearing we are restricted in the finance department ! Yes we cant spend 10 million on a striker but there are great value players out there we could get , but our scouts are ****ing useless when it comes to strikers. We paid 2 million for Dykes and Washington , while Coventry paid 1 million in 2021 for Gyokeres who is the current top scorer in the league ! It's not down to FFP, it's down to hopeless recruitment, and some twat or twats should be held responsible

If it’s our recruitment departments poor work then Les needs to sort them out/shake them up. If it’s Les’s decision and accountability then it’s his role that needs to be addressed.
We need our management to be smarter in who we bring in the striker position and stop relying on FFP as an excuse.

I wonder if the recruitment and analytics department analyse their own performance and recommend their replacement if underperforming or lack of contribution and team performance.

Gyokeres will most likely leave this window for over 10m. There's a few clubs interested in him. We would be lucky to get what we paid for Dykes. Bonne went at a massive loss. Who is in charge of this fiasco?

Don’t rate him, high wages and no sell-on value.

I can see why our recruitment team would be excited by his stats and why he’d fit in.

    Rather pinch Mullins off Wrexham!

He wasn’t much cop three years ago when we had him on loan. Now in his 30’s. Fukc me, is that really as imaginative as the scouting pros can get?

Groan. The only way this is possibly good news is if we're selling Dykes to Rangers for a little bit more than we paid for him, and Norwich are paying a fair chunk of Hugill's wages. He's a terrible finisher.

Okay - should have looked at the account first. Doesn't look legit, thankfully.

This bloke Adam Jones has 112 followers on Twitter. Hardly an influencer, and almost certainly not ITK

I wonder if that scout guy just gave the same 2500 page dossier to Crichley from when we last loaned him

I put up 10 realistic strikers pre season thst were all available for 2 mill or less. I guarantee none of them were on any of our scouts lists ! Indeed I bet they'd never even heard of half of them. Everything about the club at the moment reeks of shodiness

That would be downright pathetic, and just shows how lazy and inept our scouts and board are at present. From what looked like being a bright season at the start of the campaign its just turning into the same **** we've had to witness over the past 7-8 years. The malaise that has come over the club is depressing, and with the current board I can't see anything changing in the near future. I love my club , but I'm slowly falling out of love with those running it ! When's the last time anyone heard anything from Amit or Swiss Tony regarding signings or anything positive about the club ?

If we signed Hugill it would be pathetic. It hasn't happened though, has it?

Hugill is 30 years old. Scored 15 goals from 41 appearances for us in the 19/20 season which ain't bad and he played pretty well for us I reckon, but he'not been as prolific since. If he is fully fit, wants to play and doesn't cost too much he could be a decent short term signing. With Stefan and Balogun out so much with injury problems, and Albert losing pace, another experienced player could be a positive.
