The FT tries to be sensible and conservative, but it still buys into mental political positions. It's attraction to Thatcherite and Reaganist nonsense still persists, despite their obvious lunacy. It's very happy to criticise the current Tory and Republican nutjobs, though. They taint their "side" of politics and make everyone connected look like idiots.
