Just watched Jesse in the post match presser. He's kind of just thrown Struijk under the bus. Said something about how we started the game well until Pascal passes the ball back to Robles but it goes out for a corner which gave Cardiff players the belief that they could get in to the game. I agree with him. Struijk should come out and apologise for that first half performance. No where near professional enough.
dont like managers throwing players under the bus - leather him in the dressing room and take responsibility yourself in the presser. Unless it’s Tom lees fault… in which case it’s fair game
The bus would still be in the station with paddy clutching his hamstring have tripped over the door step
The problem with Ted is that it’s never his fault. Remember last week he gave Pascal a massive new contract ffs, who’s fault is that
I said this earlier in the week, he never shoulders the blame, seems to find someone to throw under the bus, not as bad as Heckingbottom but getting there
He's probably done that for a year. He's looked seething watching us play since October and rightly so. The decision making from our players is a disgrace. The one thing I hated today more than anything was when the first goal went in everybody's head went down and all of a sudden nobody was showing for the ball. Everyone was hiding. ****ing cowards. Pisses me off. I thought Gnonto was poor today, rarely beat his man, gave the ball away cheaply and nothing really worked for him but he kept showing for the ball, kept running at the full back and never stopped pressing. That's what you want, a bit of bravery, even when things aren't working you just keep going. Gyabi hid, Joffy hid, Summerville hid (or carried an injury), Kristensen hid, Aaronson hid, Firpo hid. Wober and Rodrigo came on and demanded the ball time and time again and gave us fresh impetus. Both of them were cajoling the others into playing again and we ended up getting a replay. Shame on the others. Cowardly ****ers.
Yeah, you got me on that one. Struijk and Llorente given new contracts will baffle me until the day I die.
