Hmm so if the game is played in a league one ground no VAR, if in a higher league VAR. So what about a replay after prem side draws with a league one side? Utter bollox all of it. Scrap VAR for the fa cup.
That’s it though. Exactly how they’re running it. You don’t just stick in two or three cameras for a cup match to accommodate var
I agree totally. It’s there so there’s no danger of the super teams getting ****ed out. They only want them winning it anyway
VAR is only used in the FA Cup where a Premier League club plays at home. That’s because the technology is already in place for those grounds, and the FA have decided not to install the technology for one-off games. That means Championship clubs, and indeed any clubs below that level, don’t have VAR for their home games in the FA Cup. As of last season, The FA have licenced all ties to have VAR in place for quarter-finals ties. That means VAR will be used in all of the last eight ties, even beyond the Premier League clubs. The semi-finals and final were already covered anyway, with Wembley Stadium already permanently licenced for VAR use. https://www.nationalworld.com/sport...s-applied-ahead-of-quarter-final-draw-3595172 Suppose it's same for both teams on the day.
That's the spirit. You could be in troube today though. We haven't got VAR, down here, we're still on morse code.
Looking forward to the game. I've still not forgotten or forgiven them after the last time we played them.
Prob close to expected … centre mid looks v inexperienced - and Adams not even on bench. emu will like the fullback - like a new signing
If you should happen to lose this against the crap side Hudson has put out today, I'd be truly amazed.
