As has been said already, it was a decent performance yesterday, it certainly didn’t look like two teams a league apart, they had just a little bit more quality. A few things stood out to me… Woods looks way better when he’s playing instead of Seri, rather than alongside him. Tetteh looked like he’d never been away, while Connolly looked like he’d been out for a decade. Simmons looks a decent player, well ahead of Vale. Disappointing that we didn’t get to see our new keeper.
Obviously it shouldn't be anywhere near as bad as yesterday, but cash and change is slower than card transactions and that's one reason they don't like offering it in the concourse. Regardless of anyone's opinions, cash transactions do hold up queues
Great post John. Just how i see it. I was really impressed with callum jones as well. Mcloughlin had a superb game and in my opinion the reason why we can play greaves at left back without weakening our defence. However i think smiths lack of pace will eventually see him on his way.was brilliant to see him prove me wrong at wigan but it so stood out again yesterday
For all of the hype regarding Vale, he’s honestly no better than James Scott at that age. He has little positional awareness and was caught offside numerous times yesterday and fluffed his only real chance. £25k a week we’re paying for him on loan when we’ve got lads in our own academy on less than a tenth of that who would’ve had more of an impact this season. Could’ve given Jarvis a few minutes this season instead of him. Send him back.
I wouldn't have done yesterday. Big sign above the turnstile £10, no change given, and another one for the £5 turnstile. Cash transactions only hold up queues when change has to be given. So round the prices up. Don't give change. I've been held up more by people, like yesterday trying to scan on mobiles etc and by people at the kiosks who's cards don't work or trying to use the wrong card, or searching in their wallets for the right card etc. I was in Botanic before the game, three pints £10, handed over a tenner, took two seconds.
yea but it didn't stop the keeper making the save although it was an easier save than the pic makes out
25k a week? this has to be some myth surely how on god's green earth, could a guy who has made 3 pro appereances be on 25k a week? 25k a week what the actual ****?? the guys a millionaire before 20 despite looking not even league 1 level
They swipe their credit card, because they would have a choice. People with no credit card or no credit on their card have zero choice.
We need to keep cash as a transaction. What if the internet goes down. The banks have too much control as it is
