I said it against Arsenal - when Murphy and Wood are on the pitch, we’re down to 9. It’s so unfair on the other players. Today we were 10 v 11 or less the entire match. The last half an hour we had about 7 competent players on the pitch. Yes we are miles away from Ashley era but if these owners are serious this isn’t ****ing good enough. I’d be furious if an Ashley team lost to Sheffield ****ing Weds.
Unfortunately it's just going to take time until we have a 25 man squad that are capable of competing on all fronts. We should have went strong tonight from the get go, get 2/3-0 Infront then bring on these ****e hawks for the game time Eddie thinks they so desperately deserve.
Thing for me is, this is a cup match against league one opposition. We are fighting for a champs league slot. How ****ing deluded are the owners if they stutter through this window? Even a europa league place had demands, look at West Ham. I feel we’re running a huge risk by not being prepared in every window, early, and are incredibly ignorant thinking some of the **** in our squad is somehow good enough because we’re third? We’re third because most of these ****ing assholes aren’t playing. They need to ****ing wake up.
Owners aren't as deluded as some of our fans expecting 25 incomings and 25 outgoings in 12 months Look at Everton.
Without a doubt, they are all on PL wages whilst being League 1 standard in most cases (as today proved). Can't think of a single 1 who would get a PL club. Championship clubs and Legaue 1 clubs simply can't get anywhere near the same terms they are currently on never mind beating them which is what most players move on for.
Just woke up after a bad dream and still peed off at the chances we missed. Never been a fan of Murphy but yesterday performance was unbelievable bad. And at one point he was playing in no 9 position.
They've spent over 200 million and don't have the finances to keep spending. They've paid 63 million for a striker that has a worse goal scoring record than the two we already have. The prices are sky high and newcastle have FFP knocking. Make no mistake while every club hasn't been published the minute Newcastle criss that like every media outlet will be screaming for points deductions and even our owners kicked out by our government. Nufc have to be careful.
He’s 24. He’s been with us since 2020. He’s 25 on 25 Jan. He should be prime. He is less than 12 months younger than ASM.
Maybe: but one or two ins and outs may be beneficial this window. We could even do some loans to help the first time as our second string is useless.
