    So I just got my semi season ticket and wanted to check it was ok so went to the box office at st james prior to the Everton match and who is standing behind me in the que but Attilio Lombardo.

    Now dont get my wrong I dont get star struck but I started speaking to a fellow geordie about him and he agreed that it was him. But why would he be in the box office getting a ticket.

    My uncle reckons hes a chelsea scout so that would make sense so he thinks its more to do with our game against them next hone game but did anyone else see him?

    ah after doing a wiki spy on him turns out hes a manchester city scout!

    Do not mention Man City and Colo to Colonel Cabaye..... He turned down a bid from them on FM for wor Colo and now Colo is sad and he is mega pissed!!

    Wait, he wouldnt be scouting us if he bought the ST today as we play them next with nothing inbetween for him to note... This doesnt add up.

    He most likely was scouting us for when we play them. And as Tiote was injured (and he should have known that prior to the game) I dont think there is any other players on show (Other than Colo) then I am sure it was to see how we play.

    Almost convinced of that! I was more just wondering if anyone else actually seen him.

    Lombardo definitely works for City. I always see Lombardo and Mancini out together in town in a restaurant called San Carlo in town. Lombardo's Mrs by the way is a bit tasty.

    slightly off topic but when I was a kid I had a Trial with Crystal Palace.
    He was still playing at the time (for palace) and he told me I could be the 'next best thing' and oddly
    gave me a shirt and a pair of shorts that he wore for training.

    Strange but true. oh and buy the way I'm not 'the next best thing'.
