    That's it.

I thought in periods we looked quite strong. Actually penned wolves back at times, something I've not seen for a while.

Two well taken goals, link up play looked better, some good signs between robo and gakpo.

Tired towards the end and some rash descions but I don't expect us to magically go from being poor to outstanding again.

    Promising more than anything.

these players need to realise they are fighting for their lives.

Elliott v Brentford. dummying ball in own half loses it and they score.

thiago 3 step overs in own half loses it. Alisson sees man clearly coming and decides no not hoofing this away, let's pass it right at him

that's clearly not thinking every move is crucial now, the penny has not dropped at all.

cbs should be hitting row z.

keeper should be getting ball away

headers should be all high and wide.

every cm should be taking a yellow to stop anyone running.

you see none of this from us bit plenty of it from other sides

Wolves extremely lucky with the 2 goals, extremely unlucky with the third (although the explanation of their number 27 coming from an offside position to make the pass seems legit). Gakpo had a good first half, so some good news.

given we beat city like... hello.

also the blood Cup in the intervening time.

3 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss in since football was bought by blood money and Harry Potter won the thing outright. of those 5 games there were periods in this game that were decent but periods of total dross as well.

this was not a very good performance and against a **** team who can't score goals and are in a relegatiin fight.

**** me, I'm not saying we looked like a world 11, just that it was better than the last few games.

I mean I can sort of see why people would think it was one of our better performances, But personally I thought it was one of our more frustrating performances of the season.

Well, I'd half agree if it were not for the opposition on show and the fact we caved for 35mins.

on a brighter note Elliott actually got a tackle in there at the end

better than watching thaigo getting walked past and Henderson being so slow he turned a ball that should be his all day into a knock to his leg.

they never recognise they cannot run so go at ball, get walked past then cannot get near anything.

just run at us and we fold.

We're missing the press. That's what Firmino brings to this team, without him there's no press. It's been a big part of our identity as a team under Klopp and very effective. Let's get some young, athletic fresh blood in midfield and get back to stifling teams.

We have had a few wins but performances have not been good. We are a disjointed side who get out muscled by other teams. Our midfield is lacking in energy and can only play well for ten to fifteen minutes before falling apart. None of this is new, the nightmare started against Fulham on day one of the season and it has been poor with some intermittent improvement in between, then back to headless chicken mode

If we put 7 past Argentina you'd still find something to moan about.

Our woes have been well documented. Particularly on here and alot by myself.

I just thought tonight there where signs of promise. I thought trent was better, a threat going down the right rather than being neither here nor there.

We looked for nunez early, got them turned on more than one occasion.

Matip and konate (if he stops falling iver) look a decent partnership.

Gakpo looked tidy if not too exciting but again offered more on the left than we've seen.

They nay have scored two, but both where incredibly lucky. Apart from the left backs shot I'm unsure if they had a clear sight on goal.

Again not saying we looked great but at times better.

    Exactly.

It's fair enough calling it as you see it, we're all watching the same ineptitude but I think some people have stopped enjoying watching the games altogether. Ok you can't say you enjoy watching us show no fight or desire but for my part, I feel privileged to be watching the games at all and will support the team and manager through thick and thin. There's always the next game to look forward to......
