I lost my hope in cup games at Stockport early 90's. Went to the game, saw no way we could lose at 1-0 up and then we switched off. Since then no Cup defeat has been a shock.
How Armstrong and Richards didn’t start is beyond me. Both hungry with something to prove and with Armstrong facing lower league defenders, this was surely the best opportunity for him to get that all important first goal and boost his confidence. Critchley worries me.
We really need to offload SLF now. A total heart over head appointment and nothing has progressed under his watch. Constantly bringing in the wrong players and have not managed to get a decent striker in since he came in (Austins’s second stint was also heart over head). Critchley seems a poor appointment and we’ll be lucky to avoid a relegation battle. People will go on about FFP but other teams seem to do alright without constantly using it as an excuse. We could use SLFs salary on a player.

Strange team selection, even if you're playing some squad players (and I don't think we're good enough to do that btw) surely you play the young and untested ones? We know about adomah and hamaleinen already no?
Chose not to watch the game after seeing the line up. Said it before, for a bloke with a reputation of developing youngsters, his decision to start with Adomah and 2 keepers on the bench was bizarre! We either have some proper **** youngsters or Crichley is out of his depth.
Surely they chose to throw the game and concentrate on the league. That was as bad as we’ve been for about three weeks.
I’d like him to get some tough questions at the press conference. He’s got a lot to answer for in terms of line up and embarrassing performance
