I am extremely biased and aware I am giving NJ no credit today, whilst giving him 95% of the responsibility for the previous games. But the way we have played under him has me absolutely convinced we are relegated if he stays and that another manager may have what it takes to keep us up. We may have won today but I’ve seen nothing to convince me other wise. That will only change if we start picking up wins starting with Everton. Anything less than a win against Everton and he absolutely must go immediately, we don’t have enough favourable fixtures to wait, improvement must be immediate.
It's quite amusing that some adults can't moan over a result, We played well enough I thought to warrant the win, Did Palace really do enough offensively to win? I think our defensive unit did a very good job today.
I’ve been just as critical of Jones but we play every team again once. Plenty of winnable games left. Not that I’m too optimistic we’ll win many.
I'm at the Oude Sluis in Leidschendam having a glass or two of Texel Schuumkoppe to warm down with. Mrs Jab is out with a couple of her chums and will be back with some home cooked Indonesian supper. There may be some sofa dozing before MOTD.
As far as I have seen, he only talks "They" when referring to things that happened before he came in, he has said "We" a lot more than some people on here let others believe!
I wonder if that lot on MOTD could find it within themselves to a actually give us some credit? But frankly I'd concentrate on that amazing experience you're going to have, sounds delicious!!
Makes our result look even worse. Bournemouth getting battered as well. Maybe there are some worse teams than us after all.
By all accounts it’s been all Forest with Blackpool getting done on the break. Football, as we know it
I also want to say - at half time I slated AMN and Aribo. But they were both much improved second half. They were buzzing about and showing for the ball a lot more. In the end AMN had a very decent game. I think if NJ can get him fully bought in and aggressive defensively there’s a real player in there.
I see that Tella came on for Burnley which would make him ineligible for us in the cup if he came back. I guess mostly irrelevant but for some reason makes me slightly annoyed we would allow that.
I doubt he’s coming back, only way I can see it is on deadline day if we haven’t managed to get other targets
Yeah. I'd be leaving Tella right where he is unless it gets to the 31 January and we feel the need to make him our last minute "addition".
Can I thank you Lewebster for trying to bring even he most ardent normally happy clappers back on track with your positivity. You are of course correct as I have just read back a few NJ quotes. He hasn’t won me over yet, and I don’t even see green shoots, but time will tell.
I like there’s still a handful of us positive ones Tom was until the Forest game broke the **** out of him
