'My luck's so bad at the minute, if i fell in a bucket of boobs i'd come out sucking my thumb' . . . Ian Holloway. Superb.
murry walker { and the benefit of no windscreen is you can see more clearly} then crash bang wallaop tumble
"Christ!! We only get a cup of tea at Man City!" .........after being told he might be pulled off at half time.......attr to Rodney Marsh
Oi ! Numpty. I asked for football quotes not quotes a moron like you would like. Here's a quote just for you. "Only two things are infinite, the universe and Big_Chris's stupidity, and Iââ¬â¢m not sure about the former." Aye Marshy has a habit of ruining his career by opening his gob.
and an England manager...and a north east football fan...probably been to more sunderland games than any of us on here....this quote was made regarding and England match
dazzla my comment was merely stating a point, bobby robson was a legend of the game but i will not state that i know his quotes, its wrong
MR ! Not a man I liked particularly either.....I read somewhere that he didnt actually say it and it was a part of a stage show done by him and George Best!......It is a funny line tho`...wonder where he got it?
so what about players and managers who have crossed the divide long before bobby robson....like the legendary bob stokoe...is what he did for this club and football redundant because he managed newcastle??...players like bob moncur and shackleton???? closed minded as ****
moncur??? are you for real. he played for west ham in centre midfield. dear me son. as for bob stokoe, i must admit i love him for what he did, but i would love him much if he never managed the mags, therefore im 50% in favour of stokoe
You really have not got a clue...bob moncur played for us for 2 years 74-76 - 86 caps....nevermind.... thread now off track...although probably my fault...i can't not bite to you...believe me folks i am trying!!!
did i say john moncur or did i say bobby moncur?.....captiained Newcastle in an FA cup final after over 250 caps (i think) and then came to do his bit for Sunderland.......welcome..... as people in those days supported the North East...went to Sunderland one week, Newcastle the next.....north east, passionate, football fans.....something that you will never see happen nowadays and has been bred into us younger generation to never even contemplate... but i respect that age of football so much...and Bobby Robson was top of that pile
