It's all very clever taking the piss out of that free kick but it's exactly what you're supposed to do with an inswinging free kick from that general area. Bang it in on that precise line so the keeper doesn't know whether to go for the ball or prepare to save a potential header. It's not luck.
We still haven’t created a single chance in open play though. Need so much more from Aribo and AMN. I don’t like singling them out but Jesus Christ they are so so poor. Just walking around and hiding behind palace players. Not pressing at all.
Just watching the Palace shot against the bar and watching Bazunu. The cross has gone past him and he just stands still and watches the ball all the way onto Ayew’s foot. Surely, once he knows he can’t cut out the cross he should be sidestepping into a more central position and spreading himself to stop a low shot? Okay, Ayew ****ed up and hit the bar, but if the ball had been hit low, Bazunu wasn’t going to be anywhere near to stopping it.
