Seems strange don’t it. I can only assume this 6 figure number is based on add ons etc. Just seems weird when we are strapped for cash to allow him to go for 30k
Now the Bristol-born talent has to make a decision over whether a move to PO4 is the best move to develop his promising potential. Towler certainly fits the bill in terms of the profile of young player are trying to bring in The Blues are looking to land emerging players, not necessarily to throw straight into the first-team picture. The plans is to nurture that talent to make them first-team ready and improve their market value.

Nigel Pearson reacts to £12m Alex Scott claim and delivers Bristol City transfer update Nigel Pearson has accepted there is significant interest in Antoine Semenyo and Alex Scott but speculation and a sale of either player are two very different things https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/alex-scott-bristol-city-transfer-8003985 Nigel Pearson has confirmed that Bristol City haven’t received any offers for Antoine Semenyo or Alex Scott and has questioned claims the latter is available for just £12 million.
Nowhere near Championship standard, sadly. If you think Vyner has a mistake in him, this lad has 2 or 3. He may improve playing regularly in L1, but we can’t risk him in the Championship again.
He’s only young with lots of potential , and has plenty of time to improve, so much too early to right him off. This is a good move for him, gives him a chance to progress at L1 . It wouldn’t surprise me if he’s a decent Championship player in the future, good luck to him.
I agree, I like that, I think he is a good lad with a bright future, maybe not premier but who knows...
Nigel Pearson makes honest claim about his Bristol City future as pressure continues to build One win in the last 10 league games has left the Robins three points above the drop zone and 19th in the Championship table https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/nigel-pearson-bristol-city-future-8004091
I agree with you, the majority of us want him to stay but just ask for some improvement and better results, 1 win in 10 is not good enough.
I want Pearson to stay and be successful, but as Wiz said one win in ten isn’t good enough, add that to his selections recently and questions need to be asked, King is not a central defender so why play him 2 game’s following with Atkinson on the bench, also Weiman at wing back with 2 wingbacks on the bench. Those were NP’s choices. Had we been mid table & the points weren’t so crucial his judgement may not be called to question, but we aren’t and every point is crucial. If he keeps us up I’ll be ok as long as we push on next season, but if it looks like we’re heading for the drop I’ll want him gone.
I said he should go after calling the fans out-putting players in wrong positions -but i fully understand his predicament as said I'm amazed he took the challenge on. I also agree with him we are in a better shape of the field than when he arrived and i fully understand the mess on the pitch he has to deal with. We seemed to have stopped conceding but need to start scoring.
Was NP was making a point to Atkinson by playing King ? Who knows we might be saying in a few weeks how well Atkinson has played and was it a brilliant piece of man management by Pearson. Bloody hope so !
