To be fair mate, you could have just slunk away.

There'd have been no one else there to notice.

What with the game being played in Hull, an' all.

In Aus they are, the local league + FA Cup here, so if you have a VPN you should be able to access it.

brandon fleming has joined oxford on loan for the rest of the season. according to the hdm:

"Karl Robinson’s Yellows are 14th in League One with 29 points from 14 matches, 11 points adrift of the play-offs and seven clear of the relegation zone."

29 points from 14 games is pretty good going. for them to be 11 points off the playoffs would likely mean the team in 7th has 40 points from 14 games, which is damn good, especially if there are six higher teams with at least 40 pts from their 14 games.

    except they've played 24, not 14.

Don't worry Chelsea I've literally done exactly that and at Fulham!

I won't tell the whole story again as I've posted it here before but in the 90s I turned up to a deserted and locked Craven Cottage thinking where the **** is everyone we kick off in 15 minutes.....:emoticon-0138-think

A man fighting for life after a Boxing Day attack in Hull city centre has been named locally as Gareth 'Garfy' Davis.

Gareth, also known as 'Paul Gareth' is understood to be receiving treatment at Hull Royal Infirmary after suffering a serious head injury. Tributes have poured in to Gareth, a well-known and popular Hull City fan, as he lies critically ill almost two weeks after an alleged assault.

Humberside Police and paramedics were called to Paragon Street at around 10pm on Monday, December 26 where it is understood Gareth was found seriously injured near the junction with Chariot Street. It is believed he had been knocked unconscious after an incident outside Hull Cheese pub and is now in a coma at Hull Royal.

Gareth is a lifelong follower of Hull City and is widely known among loyal Tigers fans. Dozens of fans have paid tribute to Gareth and sent support to him and his family on social media as he continues to fight for his life in hospital.

One Facebook user said: “Such sad news about Garfy. Known that kid since he was little great kid. He wouldn’t hurt a fly come on mate, my thoughts are with his family.”

Another added: “Sending our love and support to our customer and everyone’s friend, Garfy - what an absolute gent of a lad who’s always smiling and often tells me to keep the change for a coffee. Thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.”

A third commented: “One of the nicest blokes you’ll ever meet. Keep fighting Garfy, we’re all with you.”

Detective Superintendent Craig Nicholson said after the incident: "I am extremely grateful for the public’s help in sharing our appeal. Following information received we were led to an address in Hull overnight and a man is now in custody on suspicion of assault.

“At around 10pm on Monday 26 December a man was found near to the junction of Chariot Street and Paragon Street, having sustained a life-threatening head injury. He remains in hospital in a critical condition. Since the time of the assault, officers have carried out extensive enquiries leading to the arrest of a man.

"We continue to appeal for anyone who has not already spoken to us to come forward with any information, no matter how small, that may assist with our enquiries." Police said Liam Lovick, 32, has been charged with assault in relation to the incident.
