In 1965 came ‘The Owl’ badge, which was considered by some to be more representative of Sheffield Wednesday (known as The Owls) than Leeds United FC, despite the fact that three Owls feature on the city of Leeds’ crest. The badge would have donned the shirt of a little known youngster by the name of Billy Bremner.

In 1971, the Owl badge was ditched as the notoriously superstitious, Don Revie deemed birds to be bad luck.

Your pic is a metal badge. The letters "L U F C" weren't on the Owl badge, on the shirts.

I see we have a new poster, Ignored Member, this must be the parrot spewing his bile.

But my approach, as I have said before, is to ignore, remove the oxygen of attention that fuels his giant ego.
He obviously gets gratification from deriding and insulting all who engage with him, and coupled with his sophomoric humour, his posts are vacuous.

He never did refute this view of his persona, but I guess now I will never know.

 

Have to say it's been very entertaining wacthing @Poly giving most of you lot the runaround for the last few months.
