however, I think he was subbed on 46 mins yesterday. Was this a tactical change or was he injured?

For me, Nigel's finest hour as our manager. He will be vindicated again and again regarding James Bull5h1t.

That's the 2nd time he has been substituted just after half time in recent games, the last time because he was crap and apologised to the fans afterwards. Probably the same, lack of interest as usual.

Got to say that the Ipswich fans are a class act.. Applauding Billy Sharp's goal brought a tear to my glass eye...

    Snippets from the Ipswich board:
"One other thing for the regulars, does anybody think that Bullard has been ****e since signing for us, is this down to the fact he now has a contract and will get paid week in week out whether good or bad or is it down to fitness or diamond formation?"

"As for Bullard, I’m starting to get a bit worried about him as well. He was our best player at Millwall, but wasted in the role he currently has. I think he’ll be fine once the rest of the team start behaving like fellow footballers."

Regarding Bullard: "I haven't been overly impressed with him, but he still shows his class in spells. For me he is our best player but when he is deployed as a DM he is a big weakness, he needs to be played higher up the pitch, he just isn't a DM, his passing is over ambitious for a DM which means he losses the ball alot in vunerable positions. His defensive play when we haven't got the ball is terrible aswell. But I would also say he hasn't looked half as fit as he did last season so far."

"Just on Bullard - Yes he is a great player when he is actually being played in the position where he can hurt teams. Where do we play him? As a holding midfielder for **** sake! Andrews should be playing in that position allowing Bullard to play behind the front 2 and spraying the ball around. He hasn't got the legs just like the rest of our Dad's Army midfield."

OK, he didn't play very often for us, but I think these comments seem familiar somehow!

Ipswich were 3 down to a side in the bottom 3, the timing of the substitution suggets that he wasn't pulling the strings in midfield and putting in a good performance. We're well shot of him.

I've not been watching him but I'd hazard a guess he isn't being deployed as a defensive midfielder, more a deep lying 'quaterback' to receive the ball from the back four and instigate the moves. The tactic is sound, he's just a knob who doesn't care.

I was defensive on JB when he was with us, because of the injuries he suffered, but the more I hear now he is just a waster. He has got his contract, and basically goes through the motions.
