'Don't want to' and 'can't be arsed' is the same thing (if admitting there's a problem). Only changes if you don't think there's an issue, then it's ignorance.

they should be forced to and to lodge complaints to FA and dock match money off for every occasion. If there was a hefty bill per boradcasted match coming out of the clubs pockets they'd stop it quick smart. say a 1mil per match for each and every issue. Sky pay what? a couple billion or something (i forget) for the thing so a bill of a bout 50 or 60 mil and clubs would pretty quickly pass the fine on big time to players. Its amazing how clubs can run internal discipline to ensure players turn up on time, attend meetings, don't act the cock on their phones etc etc etc in prep for games but then actively want their players to act like children on the pitch when it actually matters
I see the media are as usual going ape **** over some ginger lad's book. This is all quite dull isn't it? I do have to comment however, given football has been almost ordered to present a pride in veterans via the red poppy and all sort sof other such flag waving at patriotism. Apparently the ginger has declared he wasn't feeling ashamed of killing some Taliban using his attack helicopter. Apparently now this is an issue for the same rags that will beat the drum of patriotism for other things. Apparently harry windsor shouldn't dehumanise his kills and he's a shameful turd or something. I just find the hypocrisy at times amusing in the red tops.
I suppose they'll keep churning it out while people keep lapping it up. I stopped reading the rags in my early 20's when I'd finally had enough of their rabble-rousing. It's a shame, because serious journalism gets lost amidst all the sensationalist drivel. In a moment of laxity I did read a little of this on the BBC site. Big News: brothers argue and fight over each other's choice of partner, sons don't take to widowed father wanting to re-marry. Sounds pretty standard family fare to me. Is anyone surprised that royals display the same pettiness and frailties as the the rest of humanity?
I don't think the book is good long term for Harry or the trashy royals. Sure, he may make a buck from the book, but his ratings overtime will suck. My only hope is this is just another leak in the dam and the whole royal institution will come crashing down eventually.
What I do find amusing is how the right wing here in the US is taking sides on this and are trashing Harry and defending the royal family. They really shouldn't have a dog in the fight. I don't think it's all because of racism, but I suspect the racist kernel in the Republican party has influenced the entire right wing to bash Harry and Meghan and take sides. Don't get me wrong, I do think the book is in poor taste, but the response from right-wing Americans (who shouldn't care less) is amusing to me.

He grew up in a royal family. You can't self legitimize being a royal without thinking other people are below you and pawns to be used and abused. I'm sure thinking of the Taliban that way was no big stretch. It has to do something to your psyche to be told every day of your childhood that you are above everyone and something special.
