If you don't have children of your own then you should certainly not be pro transitioning other people's children. The Scottish government are actively giving young children the decision to choose their own gender a Bill was passed in October. The parents are no longer given parental responsibility for the child's gender choice, if the child tells the teachers they are the opposite gender then that's between the child and the school . What I don't get Dunc is why you are so hot under the collar about LGBTQ issues. These people exist and I'm sure that given the choice the vast majority of them would rather live lives where they just fit in and have an easy time. From my own perspective I regard people like them, and I have met a few socially, as deserving of our consideration and sympathy. You really are a bit of a bully but that kind of attitude goes with the Incel territory.

Among the many flaws in these roles, are the type of people assigned to them. If the goal really is inclusion, picking anyone from the BAME community immediately excludes and marginalises a very high percentage of that group, as they only have lived experience of their own (supposed) culture. A better option would be to fill these roles with people from the indigenous demographic, who could then explain why some of the BAME actions look odd and limit their ability to integrate. That would encourage far more inclusion than lying to them by encouraging them to believe that they are 'victims' because of their skin colour rather than their lifestyle choices.
I am against adults put in responsibility of children discussing their sexuality. If a strange man approached children in a park asking them If they considered anal sex , cross dressing or transitioning into the opposite sex . The appropriate response should be violence towards them or police prosecution . You and Willyhops clearly weren't following the discussing about the new laws introduced in Scotland. Adults can do whatever they want with their own bodies or other consenting adults . Impressionable vulnerable children need to be protected from sexual predators and groomers .

In the last couple of days both Socialist Sunak and Say Nothing Starmer have made ‘key note speeches’, where predictably neither of them said anything of any great interest. Not surprisingly the social media Leftie commentariat continued to focus on how much they hate rich Sunak and his ‘rich’ wife. Why do Lefties despise rich people so much that they do not want somebody who has been successful running the country when it surely indicates somebody who is prepared to forego spending their time obtaining more personal wealth and instead try to help others elevate themselves? Concentrating solely on Sunak’s plans to improve young people’s math skills was pretty feeble. Sunak’s speech featured nothing of any great interest but woolly commitments to half inflation, create growth and cut national debt. Given that economists expect inflation to fall and while inflation persists it shrinks the national debt, any politician can promise them. Since Sunak was Chancellor when Bolshevik Boris was following his Populist policy agenda to try and keep Red Wall voters happy he is really offering to fix problems of his own causing – higher taxes, higher state dependency and the failure to implement Brexit opportunities. Starmer continues to offer no policy alternative to the government but just rely on the Conservatives continuing to tank in the polls, hoping that voters will actually put Labour into power simply because they are not the Conservatives. Many older voters may simply not vote at all or switch to the Lib Dems. In recent polling, voters still prefer Sunak as PM rather than Starmer as the latter is viewed with suspicion by older voters. Post-Brexit, most Millennial Remainers were already in the bag for Labour and the Lib Dems and will not switch to the Conservatives who made it happen. As neither Sunak nor Starmer offer any real opportunity to younger generations, they may take their talent abroad leaving nobody to fund the managed decline that we now face along with largely Leftie Europe. The opportunity of Brexit has to date been squandered because ‘Get Brexit Done’ Boris never finished the job.
The lefties on here have a dilemma, as their poster boy unions back brexit, and dislike the EU for many of the reasons the rest of us do. Such are the perils for them parroting an ideology, rather than them doing even basic research and applying any critical thinking of their own.
