well, if you turn out simply wanting to discuss football then i suppose it's ok..although i missed some post earlier that seemed to go against that, unfortunately i cannot comment on that one. also, you certainly are not the first to start with this approach (not just mags) but sooner or later the posting becomes a lot different, which may lead to a ban.
So how did you find out premier board ? as there is no recourse when your posts get deleted , and no none of mine have been for a year
2 types of mags mate some want banning straight away only here to cause trouble, but quite a few good ones dont come any more,
unfortunately, every club has them...tried looking for that 'earlier thread' but either it has gone or i got the wrong place, never mind, probably better that i did not see it.
Delete offensive posts which are created for one thing. Unlike you. It hasn’t been deleted yet. It’s served it’s purpose. So chances are it’ll be locked before some of your idiots get on and start complaining. As a mod on here, I have to ask, why is it so important to you? Have we banned someone you like? If we have, there’s a reason
Why is it important? Well as I'm sure the likes of Sid, Roger & Nig (who still visit the Toon board for banter) would confirm, I've always been up for friendly banter and enjoyed the rivalry, right back to the BBC606 days. But I never come on your board because all I hear is that everyone visiting from NUFC board just gets banned/deleted. I get that if it's offensive, then sure ban/delete as you see fit. That's what forum Mods are for. But I have seen screen shots where your own Mods even confirm they've banned some of our lot 'just in case' they WUM. Not because of what they have actually posted.
Like I said, because I always used to enjoy good banter with decent Sunderland fans. But after having had quite a long break from the Not606 forum I hadn't been back over here since returning, because I'd been told things had changed and banter wasn't a thing any more. I think your response just proves that.
Visitors are welcome, no matter where their from, as long as they're civil . . . . it's that simple, and you're still here, Obi. When the civility goes, things need to change, and if it never does nothing needs to change We have had mag visitors that have always been welcome.
It doesn't. I was simply asking why are you here? Proves nothing. I personally dont see the need or want to go to a rivals board and engage in conversation. Not sure why you wouldn't just converse with fans who want the same as you on your own board.
Well, the rivalry used to be fun. Cross forum threads with rival fans joking and winding each other up about each other's clubs and results. Proper creative jokes & wind ups mind, not like the WUMs as we know them now. Proper tit for tat. Then for some reason the keybiard warriors appeared and the internet just went silly, became hostile and focused on simple name calling. Anyway, as you say I'll probably just stick to the NUFC board. Seems a safer bet nowadays. But we are all missing out on some genuine rivalry fun because of a few.
I've been banned for 3 years now on the Newcastle board for having friendly banter, it works both ways. Feck off back to your own board you obsessed Mag tw@t
I must admit I enjoy it on here much more without the tosspots from your board coming here. The ones that do come on now are great lads. I got banned from your board 3 years ago because Kunta wouldn’t come out from under his bed , until I was
Not happy with just attending our games, they have to come onto our board And to answer the post, as long as people behave themselves I don’t see an issue and that is from both sides. However as you well know there are internet tossers who just look to light the fuse and run away
I find this level of vitriol quite unusual, and rather than be obsessed by anything at all that is going on at Sunderland, it does intrigue me as to why some of you are so ****ing hostile, in what can be only described as a bit of a childish manner. I don't live in the North East any more, but the majority of the lads I still have regular contact with are actually Mackems (one goes to every game, home and way) and while he's all for the FTM, it's mostly tongue in cheek and we have a great bit of craic about our club's mis/fortunes. As grown ups. I visit your board from time to time, but rarely engage - mainly just to see if there's anything major going on I can discuss with the lads I'm still in touch with. Not been banned, yet. It's a shame there's so much of the childish stuff, and not enough good banter between rivals - from both sides.
