Anyone else who joined the British army and killed 25 of the enemy (something he was trained to treat like removing chess pieces from the board) whilst fighting for Queen and country would be considered a hero wouldn't they?
I guess it depends on your view on sending in troops to random places around the world, and why they are really there for?
No. Soldiers don't boast about numbers in public as if it was a badge of honour. They don't (figuratively) wear a medal on their chest with 25 on. He's quite possibly put members of the British Military at risk by doing so, and also his own family which he claims he's so concered to find security for. And why did he do it? To up the sales of his book, so he can make more money and try to keep up with the Hollywood A listers that he and his wife are desparate to call friends.
All those critical of the Sussex’s beware. All Harry needs is a heavily armed military helicopter and his innate (inbred genetic inheritance) ability to see you as sub human and therefore not real and you’re toast.
He's not an ordinary soldier, though. He's someone whose every deed is scrutinised and reported on in minute detail by the salacious British press. What he seems to have done in his book is open up about every aspect of his life - from losing his virginity to an older woman, to taking cocaine, to killing Taliban - before the scumbag press got a chance to do it for him. He wasn't boasting about killing people, he was opening up about how conflicted he was about having had to do it and how he coped with it.
Again, you're factually wrong about the press reporting on his military activities. There was a media blackout agreed and honoured. So he's just after killing-kudos and money
