If there rugby teams are called the All Blacks, why is that not classified as being racist?

 

It's all context mate. You could call a New Zealander a "Black" no worries, do it to an African. You could get stoned to death.

 

Lets see, the strip they play n is black.

So All blacks means the strip and not skin colour.

 

So calling someone black is racist now?

 

Our police service are affectionatly known as black bastards. I would hazard a guess and say that not one out of the whole force are black.

 

If someone is black, they are black, nobody thinks that is racist, it is when you put the word bastard after it, it then becomes racist, its all about context

 

So if I refer to Richie McCaw as an All Black bastard is that racist?

I'm from new Zealand, and even I can't tell you, it's just the kit, we have football - all whites, hockey - black sticks, basketball - tall blacks, netball - silver ferns.

 

Not in my eyes but Tiger Wood's ex caddie is now being called "racist" for calling Tiger black.
