But I did reply, I cited 9 posts you had made in only 4 days and explained the meaning of the word dirge for you (no need to thank me, the lesson was free because I know you like to question peoples reading and comprehension abilities and didn’t want you to make yourself look more silly).

I then asked you for substance / evidence in my post 31638 saying I want specific post numbers (and please, no flippant responses like “you echo his thoughts” - actually do some homework.)

This is very straightforward, you either can or you can’t but these are the rules you have set so, let’s see if you can rise to the challenge :emoticon-0148-yes:

    He's from Sheffield isn't he?

"For those who don't know me, my name is Richard (Rich) and I was born in August 1962, in Sheffield South YORKSHIRE"
(off topic but I often have argued that Leeds United should be like the County Cricket Club used to be and only sign Yorkshire born players)

No you didn't, you simple said, about posts regarding US politics, that "it all is"

    So tell us:
Are all posts regarding UK politics considered "dirge" by you ?
What about posts regarding religion ?
Or posts regarding the Russian-Ukrainian war
Or just any post that YOU have no interest in ?

    LOL
Evidence of "substance", is not given by questions
I think you need to look up the word in a dictionary for common uses of the word in this context. Perhaps you confuse it with "clarification". Since you've given evidence of confusing two separate words before.

Substance, in a debate context, is when you make an assertion, and then back it up with detailed argument. Something few on this forum like to do.

I can give substance to any assertion I've made
You, so far, are unable to.

Plain to see - you can't answer can you? So 9-0 to Marcos.

Now, for someone whose chosen subjects are American Politics and Pedantry I would guess (well, actually I would bet my mortgage) that you tried to find posts where I support Roger on his views on American politics but you haven't found any have you? Guess why that is - I haven't deleted any so it leaves one obvious answer and, yes, it does make you look even more foolish.

I don't need to tell you what subjects I consider to be dirge do I? I told you many of yours are and told you which ones, not sure what you are struggling with there (and I didn't list any of the childish name calling ones either). Yes, I do consider yours (and Rogers for the record) constant repeating of your views on American politics incredibly boring. Yep, the thread is called anything goes but, when Mighty set it up, I bet even he never envisaged one or two people trying to dominate it and criticising those who do not share their views or, even worse, not finding the same subjects interesting. The shame of that is, others do post some interesting things on here but I have to wade through pages of YOUR dirge to find it. Not sure what you get out of trying to ram your views and interests down the throats of others on a football forum in a country you don't even reside in but, if it makes you happy hey ho!

Oh and, if you do ever find those posts where you can back up your assertion (you won't) let me know, otherwise, keep the patronising crap about using dictionaries etc to yourself, worry more about learning the meaning of words like dirge first, you would do yourself a favour.

You are aware what that logo is right ?

It was the Leeds United badge that the club wore on its shirts when I first started watching them.

Bow you head in shame now.

    I just did
You can't see the wood for the trees
    Try improving your reading conprehension.

    Nope
    Try again.

Pretty much everything in which you have no interest in.
Which I would imagine, covers quite a lot

I have interest in a lot more than football and US politics (though there's quite the drama going on in the Capitol right now.
My initial posts regarding US politics were to rebut the ignorant posts of Roger. To which, like you, he could offer no substance to his ignorant opinions, and when challenged, resorted to slander and abuse, which is par for the course for the likes of him.

No, you merely cited a hand full in attempt to justify your assertion of "most of them"
Without any attempt to support it with anything resembling substance.

    Then don't read them
Weird how none of your abusive posts are directed at him though.

I'm not criticizing you for not sharing views. Just that you stick your nose in and criticize the posts, while simultaneously admitting you have no interest in them.
So either join in or butt out.

Again, just MINE huh. Even handed you are not and sorry to cause you such an onerous task
And yes that was somewhat disingenuous.

What views do you feel that are rammed down your throat ?

I think you'll find that there are many Leeds United fans overseas....as it seems you have disdain for non-local fans.

Which assertions do you need more information on ?

Oh dear - seems you don't like the "anything goes" concept of this thread.
Though you would benefit from dictionary use as twice now, you used the wrong word.
