In professional sports and in everyday life, there is actually a very correlation between believing in God and success. So your prejudicial ramblings are not only offensive, but also dumb and wrong

I think Vin is making a fair point, without really being offensive or prejudicial? He's just saying that somebody who bases decisions not on rationality, but on perceived celestial instruction, is slightly concerning. That's how I read it anyhow?

"there is actually a very correlation between believing in God and success." If so please post some verifiable proofs.

My hypothesis is that it’s actually a sort of placebo effect, where those that have a strong faith in god have stronger belief in themselves at elite sporting level.

But regardless, leave the mans personal beliefs out of it.

There's a big difference between me and you. I make mistakes, I admit it, I correct myself, I learn and I move on. That's how we improve ourselves as humans.

There is an even bigger difference. You are a sanctimonious prick and I am not. Why did you even feel the need to bring me into that conversation? Absolute weirdo

Yes, even if he has publicly stated that he asks questions inside his head and makes decisions based on a voice he hears responding to him, leave that out of any discussion because... er... God.

As I've said before, to rid yourself of the desire to give a free pass for religion, replace "God" with "my mate Derek". I bet my entire fortune (such as it is) that you wouldn't be telling us to leave it undiscussed then.

As I explained, I mistook someone else for you. That's why I brought you into that conversation. In case you still don't get it, I thought I was replying to a post by you. Not really so odd that I would bring you into a conversation if I thought I was talking to you, is it?

I suggest you re-read what Vin said. He made a mistake, admitted it, and apologised. You responded by insulting him, twice. I suggest you retract at least the personal insult part of your last couple of messages.

It's a good place to avoid. If you think people are weird in here there are people on there who think that there's a global plot to depopulate the planet.

Chilcs, genuinely, don't worry. I'm not remotely bothered by anything Osvaldorama says. Honestly not a problem.

<laugh> Except to bring me up and insult me for no reason to another poster.

I am actually living rent free in your head.

I've tried to explain but I'm not sure you're even reading my posts.

As I've tried to explain, I thought I was replying to you so I clearly wasn't 'bringing you up and insulting you for no reason to another poster'.

That's my final word on the subject.
