I think Vin is making a fair point, without really being offensive or prejudicial? He's just saying that somebody who bases decisions not on rationality, but on perceived celestial instruction, is slightly concerning. That's how I read it anyhow?

My hypothesis is that it’s actually a sort of placebo effect, where those that have a strong faith in god have stronger belief in themselves at elite sporting level. But regardless, leave the mans personal beliefs out of it.
