From what I understand there's 2 names in line if we do sign a CM. Sabriri (which will only cost about £8 million) at Sampdoria or the Ecuadorian lad at LA.
who has said his goodbyes but I do believe Brighton are after him as well.

I think we can safely say, Adams, Aaronson, Rasmus and now wober are Jesse signings. The others orta picks.

Adam’s has been great, aaronson hit and miss, Rasmus so so… actually thought he was improving before he was dropped.

The other thing thats peeing me off is the time and energy Marsch has wasted on bigging up Firpo who has been fit for weeks but not used. Bamford is great, Bamford is back on the grass, Bamfords had a set-back. For gods sake by the time Paddy gets back it will be next season and hope it’s for another club now. When is Sinisterra going to be back? Forshaw injured again after 45mins and now had another operation. Marsch has spent too much time on covering some players asses instead of telling it like it is.

There is also a story doing the rounds that Roca is fkd off with Marsch and is being spoken about back in Spain, he could be on his bike. Anyone notice his reaction last night to being pulled? The story is we have a happy dressing room the reality however could be different

Exactly mate and what happened to Rads plan of European football. Yesterday we were one good defender and a quality mid from winning. We must have the youngest and most inexperienced midfield in the top two leagues. Bielsas players said they learnt to live with the pressure and expectations at Leeds. Surely there are players out there who can handle it. So let's see what orta comes up with this window. I suspect we will find out on Sunday if Wober is any good.

I doubt the dressing room is happy Doc. Manager looks stressed, league position not great. It’s usually circumstances that dictate the dressing room.

I see this as a positive as now he is finished. Klich has gone at the right time too. Now Rads must release some funds or his investment is losing value. The 49ers have been to quiet for me and I'm not convinced they are in for the long haul.

    Kristensen dropped

    Roca playing less

Aaronson on a poor run of form, could well be dropped next

    Adams quality

That's our new signings, they seem to be having a tough time of late, with the exception of the outstanding Adams.

Roca has quality as well, it's there to see and think he will re find his form pretty quickly.

The situation is too serious for me to pass my usual flippant comments
However I have no confidence in Jesse and to be honest I never have
Orta must take a large amount of criticism for extending contracts of sick notes (that’s probably why the cupboard is bare)

    Morning all.

So who played well last night and who failed to hit the heights ?

    Adams
    Ayling
    Struijk
    Gnonto
    Summerville
    Rodrigo

All the above were pretty good and we can add Klich and Harrison to the list as they both had a positive impact from the bench. Meslier had a steady game with no chance for either goal and Greenwood continues to show he can take a great set piece.

Which leaves Koch, Cooper, Roca & Aaronson.

Coops was ok and very nearly made the list of top performers, could of grabbed a late winner and also headed back across for Rodrigo's great effort in stoppage time.

Koch is a warrior with lead in his boots, plus the way he combines with Cooper when we're in possession is a major concern.

Roca is the sort of player who makes me think do we really need this guy. Accomplished on the ball but rarely gets forward, has no pace to close down so against fast pacy attacks (which is when you expect to see him mopping up) he's anonymous. Often takes up a position where Cooper or Koch could just as easily be in possession without improving our play out from the back.

Aaronson making the same moves, plays every game now and the opposition handle him very comfortably. Needs to come up with something different and add more to his game as currently he's not worthy of a starting berth.

For me it's the system, it doesn't suit the PL, as Rangnick found out last season, the kind of mistake Aaronson did last night, McTominay and Pogba did too, it seems a system alien to how many players were coached elsewhere and they can't grasp it. As a coach you adapt the style to the players you have, then as you add better players then you tweek things, like Artera as done at Arsenal.

The vast majority of coaches play one holding midfielder and two in from of them to form a triangle.

Phillips (holding), Pablo & Klich in front for example.

Partey (holding) Odergarrd & Shaka for Arsenal.

Rodri (holding) DeBruyne & Gundowan at City.

Jesse reverses this and for me it doesn't work. With a potentially fantastic holding midfielder in Tyler Adams at the club we really should be trying a different formation/system to get that extra creative midfielder in the team.

YEP player performance marks are a bit suspect because the back 4 get either a 6 or a 7. Ok so who was to blame? Well they blame Roca (5) and Aaronson (4) best players with 8s or 7s Harrison, Klich, Rodrigo (with the comment if only his team mates looked to find him) Gnonto Summerville. So to blame is a DM and an AM

with most of the team getting 6s, 7s and 8s we should have won shouldn't we?

Well if we'd cut out the defensive lapses we'd have won easily Doc.
