I’m not too bothered about replacing Bamford now with Rodrigo and Gnonto. Roca and Aaronson are starting to have question marks against them, I’d prefer a new Pablo in the middle but it’s wishful thinking.
His place on the bench should be filled by Roca and a new first name down on the sheet type player brought in but like you, I know it will be Gyabi or similar being used
Full marks to Klichy. Been a great servant and absolutely doing the right thing at this point of his career for himself and his family. A drop down in league but that's what often happens at his age to ensure regular football and a regular income for another couple of seasons. Nobody at fault here except mother time. As for a replacement, I suspect we signed him a couple of days ago. were not going to increase our wage bill especially if James is on the way back
Meslier has been outstanding as well. So much better this term in my opinion. I've always had doubts about him and I can safely say they have gone now.
He was promised more game time, just as Drameh was. Jesse just tells the fans and the players what they wish to hear. There would have been no surprises that he was exiting, the board would have had plenty of time to find a replacement but we all know that’s unlikely
