Kinnear’s notes welcomed wober as our ‘first’ January signing. Let’s hope a klich replacement is lined up. Sad day that’s he going but he’s been outstanding for us. Ever-present for bielsa and most tellingly, we always looked worse when he was off the pitch. Kind of the glue to bielsa’s Leeds. As good a £1.5m as we’ve ever spent. Sounds like he’s got himself a great deal. He deserves it… wish him all the best in the US.
I feel the same - going from 1-0 up to 2-1 down was just shattering. Felt we were going to get hammered in more ways than one after that so have to give them credit for salvaging a point and by the sounds of it could have got all 3. We need a sodding win pretty damn quick though.
Happy with a point considering how bad we were at stages but we needed a win tonight and I don’t get why we can’t just play like we do when we’re losing, we had something with Bielsa and we still have something at stages but it never works all the time. Sick of the mistakes. Piss poor defending tonight from most of the defence. Feel like Ayling and Koch tried there best in the first half to gift goals and pass to the opposition. Struijk did one better with a shocking tackle. I feel like Aaronson needs dropping at the moment as he can’t seem to pass to his own players ever and is running round like a headless chicken, thought Klich changed the game when he came on. Held onto the ball well and created space for others as well as being calm on the ball rather than just kicking it anywhere which seems to be a lot of our players tactics when we get it. Think we’ll miss Klich badly, been shafted a bit and should have been starting the last few games ahead of Aaronson who needs some time on the sidelines as he’s been woeful recently.
Even forest have caught us and some here we’re predicting they’d be one of the relegated three including myself
Me, no excuses this year that players are tired etc, had a massive woke cup break. Show respect to the fa cup and to the fans and play our best team.
Klich leaving official on lutv. Soon to be followed by an announcement of his replacement, Adam forshaw.
Just back from the game and although we continue to give really soft goals away you can't fault the effort of the lads. Tyler Adams MOTM for me as he's absolute class at closing down and winning the ball back. Terrific send off for Klich at the end and he was in tears as he left the field.
Is this a bad thing. I am taking huge pleasure - and I mean really HUGE - from seeing articles about Fat Frank being sacked and seeing Everton in bottom three.
It’s like separation from a loved one, in comes a new partner winning you over, telling you what you want to hear with the gift of the gab, then they slowly start removing all traces of your ex as deep down they’re jealous and realise they can’t compete with what you once had. Before removing traces of your ex, they did take an approach of let’s slag them off a little by telling you there faults and outlining why you’re better off now, but that never quite went the way they intended as they continue to make those same mistakes.
