In light of our injuries to attackers, I'd push Perisic further up as one of the three and drop Gil (or Son, who is pants atm) to the bench to at least have an option on there to impact the game if necessary. Doherty to LWB, Spence as RWB and I think given the absentees, that's our strongest line up and bench possible. Conte's refusal to play Spence is essentially defining the selection of every position apart from the CBs and Kane. It is bizarre.
Happy Birthday, RCL & Alfie! If I were you I'd switch off the TV or streams, hit the syrup and look up the result when you sober up.
That's been just two games though. He failed to score against Southampton, Chelsea, Fulham, Brighton, Bournemouth and Newcastle too, all games Sessegnon has started.
In which Son didn’t score in… So he can’t perform with (or because of) Perisic, has barely performed with Sessegnon, can’t perform in a 352 and he couldn’t perform for Korea at the World Cup. He’s simply out for form and it’s worrying, because he really is looking a few yards slower too and tends to lose the ball way more than he used too. I don’t want to believe he’s on the slide but come the summer if he hasn’t picked up by then we’ve got a big decision to make.
He won the golden boot last season and was scoring fine in the run-in. I doubt he's suddenly aged dramatically in a couple of months. Time will tell though, I guess.
Well that proved effective the other day All they have to do is rugby tackle us to no punishment while we get booked for breathing and that's an exact replication of Brooks' accumulator Emery's gameplan
Based on the chants in the away end, I'm guessing that fans who passed their GCSEs couldn't make the trip due to rail strikes...?
Funny how we change to the setup to the one we used late last season (and in our first 3-4 games this season) and we look more fluid Now all we need is Sonny to stop trying to do calculus to play his way back into form...
As several bellends on Twitter have pointed out, as if they didn't expose themselves for what they are with their "contributions" to the club's tribute to David Gold, the usual leEhVeE aUHwT ****e
