Off Topic Non-Sunderland games

There's already rumours floating about that Chelsea, Spurs and Man United are keeping an eye on him. I could easily see him going to any of those and replace what's there now (Mendy is inconsistent, Lloris always has a clanger in him and seems to be getting worse, De Gea the same and I'm not convinced his heart is in it at Man U or that he'd stay if the chance to go back to Spain came up). Of the three clubs, Spurs to me are the most likely (Lloris is 36) followed by Chelsea. But none of them would be in a rush, so they can hold on for a while. As you say, Everton are in a pickle one way or the other. Take the cash now and pretty much run up the white flag or hold on and hope to survive but risk getting half or less if they don't as he'd definitely be away then. Right now it doesn't look like they will stay up. It's why it reminds me so much if us in 2016/17.
