No idea but I do believe the same 3/4 Piss heads were still there, but I will check to keep you happy.

Well DeCanio reckons there were 5/6 causing trouble and they were the ones that went to see Short, I know there was definitely 3 of them in the relegated team

So Di Canio admitted that he couldn't manage 20% of his team and this caused the failure of results among his entire team?

If I went to my boss with the same situation, I'm pretty sure I'd be the one getting the bollocking.

You obviously have a s hit boss as well mate, you need to ask him to go on some managerial courses ( about £2,000) for the week. Because he hasn’t got a clue how to manage staff either.

I doubt Di Canio was sacked for results mate. He only had 5 or 6 games at the start of the next season. That included trying to work with useless players Di Fanti brought in. I am not saying be would have gone on to be successful that season mind. He was sacked because the players went to Short moaning about him. Why Short acted so quickly who knows, but we can hazard a guess.

    That blew up quickly!

Di Canio was an absolute disaster waiting to happen. He got decent results at Swindon, but it was completely unsustainable and bordering on unethical. The fees which he was paying to agents in that division were disgraceful; a transfer embargo partly as a result; he used over 40 players - most of whom he identified himself - and publicly fell out with and criticised most of them; he had a physical 'fight' with one of his own players in the tunnel; he was accused of racism by one of his own players; there were countless touchline bans.

Yes, he was successful on the pitch for Swindon, but the problems which led to him leaving (I.e. selling Matt Ritchie and not being able to afford the loan fees and wages) were down to the excessive spending under his regime.

Thank **** he didn't stay too long with us.

Have to say I would’ve had them here. They’ve failed after going to a basket case of a club. Still think they’re decent managers all in all
