This window is so important in my opinion. We’re in a ridiculous position for champions league football with Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool below par. If we can get this window right and say buy 2 perfect players for the team to not only improve the 11 but our depth, it gives us such a good chance, this chance may not come again for a while. I just feel we ain’t going to buy anyone. We can’t keep pushing for CL with Murphy / Wood coming on.
Yes, it's probably all just trashy paper talk with no substance, BUT the point is we are now being consistently compared to the likes of PSG, Bayern Munich, Chelsea & Liverpool when it comes to who we are competing to sign. Even if it just has the top teams rattled then it's good.
